The mug was created in the Åkervinda Ceramics workshop. It is made of white clay, glazed with sky blue. The organic free fall of the glaze emphasizes the dynamics of the butterfly flight through the airy skies. After glazing, the mug was decorated with butterfly images and text: "Without change, there would be no butterflies". The decorations are black to add contrast to the white clay and the airy glaze.

The mug's handle ("the ear") is custom made to fit the individual hand and mug holding fashion, and offer comfort and support.

The mug was custom made for a private collection and is not for sale.
