During the month of December in 2020, I had a video installation in central Kinna, using the giant window of Kinnaborgssalen, the main municipality office.

The video art piece showed a journey near the ground in the winter. What does the holiday season look like when you're a small animal - or maybe a tiny elf or gnome? The motto was "Nära marken i Mark" - near the ground in Marks municipality. The video mosaic shows different garden and forest plants in the grip of ice, snow and frost, from a near-ground perspective. The video installation also featured Advent candles, lighting subsequent candles every Sunday (as a tradition from last year) - and pieces of seasonal greetings with some special effects. There were live snow effects during late December.

The installation was made with the help of a stong projector, directed onto a plastic cloth membrane that was cut out and fastened onto the window. The projector was programmed to start when it was dark enough, and to loop the video which was a few minutes long.
